What:  Shop and dine at participating downtown retail stores and restaurants that have agreed to donate a percentage of their days sales to local and national charities. 

Chalk it Up!
Date:  April 19, 2008
What:  Participate in Morgan Hill’s first ever sidewalk chalk art event.  Local students and their families can sponsor a section of downtown Morgan Hill’s sidewalk and then chalk out their own designs.  The fun begins at 8 AM and lasts all day long.

Downtown Street Fair
Dates: June 19, 2008, July 17, 2008 and August 21, 2008
What:  Spend your Thursday evenings in downtown Morgan Hill strolling Monterey Rd. between Main and Third Streets.  Enjoy live music, shop at local stores, enjoy fresh produce and visit with local artists from 5-9 PM.

Mushroom Art
Date:  June 2008 through August 2008
What:  Check out Morgan Hill’s temporary public art display!  Mushroom Art will see as many as 25 custom designed fiberglass mushrooms displayed throughout downtown Morgan Hill.  Sponsored by regional businesses and individuals local artists will paint and decorate these three foot tall icons that will be auctioned off in early September with proceeds benefiting multiple charities. 

The California Autumn Classic
Date:  October 20, 2008
What:  Downtown Morgan Hill will play host to the California Autumn Classic British Sports Car Concours and Tour.  Over 100 classics from Austin-Healey, MG, Triumph, Sunbeam, Lotus and other makes will dazzle in downtown.

Safe Trick or Treat
Date:  October 31, 2008 - 5-7 PM
What:  A downtown Morgan Hill tradition!  Safe Trick or Treat provides a fun and safe environment for Morgan Hill’s children and families to experience Halloween. 

Downtown Ice
Dates:  November 27, 2008 through January 4, 2009
What:  Skate at Morgan Hill’s outdoor winter ice rink.  Open Thanksgiving Day through the first weekend of January, Downtown Ice will be the main attraction in Morgan Hill during the holiday season.  Enjoy a 90 minute skate session and avoid the drive to San Jose.
